About Us

Van OD was founded in 2014 with the aim of making it easier to live in the city without a car, by providing a taxi-like van service to the people of Bristol. Starting life like most "man with van" services, as just one person with a van, we now have a growing network of owner-drivers enabling us to offer a range of van sizes, and increasingly short notice availability to our customers. Operating this way also enables us to provide a high level of reliability, as if one driver or van is out of action for any reason, in most cases we have enough capacity to honour all our bookings.

Reliability and professionalism are core to what we do. To maintain high standards, all our drivers are hand picked and we regularly catch up with them face to face. As a minimum all drivers we work with are required to have the relevant insurance for this type of work, including Goods In Transit and Public Liability cover.

	Jim Sharples Furniture build beautifully crafted fitted and freestanding furniture for your home.
	We've been helping Elin Rhian Upholstery collect furniture from customers and return it beautifully uphostered since 2017.
	Wild Leaf sell a fantastic array of interesting and exotic (and sometimes quite large!) houseplants.
	Sheridan Myers specialise in the delivery of school meals and have large contracts with several local authorities across the UK. We have been providing relief cover for their regular drivers in Bristol since 2017.
