This was a very emotional move for me leaving the city after 12 years and Farouk went above and beyond to make the entire experience easier. He was incredibly kind, professional, and supportive, helping with every single aspect of the move.

Farouk handled my belongings with great care, stayed in constant communication, and made what could have been a stressful day feel so much lighter. It’s rare to find someone who not only does their job well but also brings genuine kindness and compassion to the process.

The guys did a great job on a house move for us, working tirelessly & carefully to get everything packed into the van & then out again at the other end quickly & efficiently. Would definitely recommend!

I used Van OD to move between two houses only about three miles apart. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. I needed a large van and two people to help move my belongings. Everything was moved quickly and carefully in the allocated time. A friend helping me move commented on what a great job they did. I shall use them again next time I need to move.

This is the second time I’ve used Van OD to collect and deliver second-hand furniture I’ve bought online and they are brilliant. I was quoted half the price of other similar services and the drivers on both occasions were amiable, efficient, and conscious of caring for the items and our home. Will most certainly use again!

Can totally recommend Van OD and Farouk. I was confused and didn’t know which way to turn, I stood thinking of all that had to be done and felt hopeless. Along comes Farouk, he was just a whirlwind and he put some order into my life. He moved me from one place, then we went to another to pick up more things, then took me to what is now my home. He even moved plants and small trees in planters. Cannot express my gratitude and admiration enough. It was a Friday afternoon, traffic was bad but he worked hard up to the end even though, because it was the weekend, he still had a long car journey ahead of him. Thank you Farouk, you saved the day.

Efficient professional service

This company did a great job collecting various items of furniture from us in Langford and taking them to our daughter’s new place in Bristol. The price was fair and the items were well strapped in and looked after. We’ll use them again!

I recently used Van OD to move flats and it was completely stress-free. I found the whole process of organising the removal much simpler than other companies online that ask for precise inventories, dimensions, weights, etc. (which are often impossible to give at the time of booking), and they were very quick to reply to my emails. The driver, Rony, and the other helper were both very friendly, quick and professional. They were very careful with my things, respectful to both properties and they let me jump in the van with them which was very convenient as I don’t drive. The price is also very reasonable. I would recommend them to anybody and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you! 🙂

My first choice for removals in Bristol
Van OD have done two flat moves for me now while I’ve been living in Bristol, both of which involved going up and down in a block of flats. They are friendly, efficient and reliable, with reasonable rates.

I’ve used Van OD twice now for house removals. Robin was very efficient and helpful with the bookings. Both times the two removal people were excellent. They were friendly, professional and prompt. They took great care of all my belongings and got everything done in a timely and efficient manner. I’ve also found Van OD to be excellent value for money, as other removal quotes were much higher. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Amazing communication and fast and timely service. Got back to us straight away on email and phone. Made moving from a first floor flat to a ground floor flat so easy, even booked us in for a second trip at 4pm for 9am the next day when we had to shift more stuff. Good prices when you have to move a whole flat in one go and not break the bank.

I booked Van OD in advance for a small move- Robin replied promptly and booked me in. On the day of the move, I was kept updated by the Driver Rony, brilliant service, very friendly, polite and professional- they were so careful and delicate with my items. We were moving a precious piano. The crew were just so chilled out and competent – they knew how to solve the problems but were also open to suggestions. Warm, efficient, safe – great service.

The team at Van OD were amazing, I had to rearrange our date 3 times and they were very patient, responsive and flexible (needed in a stressful time like moving house!). They estimated 2hrs to move from our 2 bed flat with all furniture to our new 2 bed house – which I thought was optimistic but was accurate and a very smooth process! We used Van OD for a house move, and we ended up using them twice on the same day to grab some stuff from ikea as well (cheaper than getting delivery and you get a lift home as well). Great service from start to finish, we will certainly use again.

Top quality service
The help I received from Van OD to move the contents of my flat into storage could not have been better. The communication before my move was excellent and they were very accommodating with changes I made. The guys who helped with the move itself were careful, efficient & professional, & because of their hard work they finished the job quickly meaning it was great value too. It’s the second time I’ve used Van OD to move me & I’ll definitely be using them again for my next move.

Van OD where great to work with, easy communicators and gave clear estimate after my list of kit was provided (which was actually reduced after they moved all my stuff in less time than quoted!). They put up with moving not only all my heavy boxes of books but all the fiddily bits and slightly awkwardly wrapped items too. Their customer care was particularly notable in that they tip-toed around my housemates, who where moving out simultaneously, without protest. I would obviously recomend these guys and will happily use them again in future.

I have used Van OD twice and had very positive experiences on both occasions. Booking is straight forward and I was able to book at short notice. The staff have all been friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Van OD and use their services again.

Super easy to work with as a business, needing their help. We used ours to move product around the city between the head office and some places we were doing filming, really good team and they give you a lift as well – takes the stress out of doing any product shots or demonstration set ups in random places in Bristol.

Got Van OD to pick up a cabinet I found on Gumtree and they were ace. Half the price of other man and van companies! (They gave me this fridge magnet that is now proudly displayed on our fridge).

Service was easy to book. Our van driver was brilliant – loaded the van up very carefully and managed to fit in much more than expected which saved us multiple car trips. Would highly recommend!

I’ve used Van OD the last few times I’ve moved. Always been punctual and dealt with the move within a couple of hours. They’ve been able to deal with any issues that have arisen during the move. Would very much recommend and will be using them again.

The guys helped us move recently. Both service and personnel were first class: booking was simple and we got an ideal slot just 3 days before moving. We had a LOT of items to shift – far more than we realised – and stairs to navigate, but thanks to Rony & his brother the job was finished within 3 hours. All for a very reasonable price. I couldn’t recommend their services highly enough!

I used these guys in the summer to move my stuff into storage and then again to move into my new place. Was able to get a slot a few days in advance and it was the move stress-free move to date. They will always help you load and unload etc and provide quick responses. Ordered a Luton van to help move some big bits during a recent house move. Driver was professional and courteous and careful with more delicate items. The traffic was a nightmare, but he still got it all shifted across town and unloaded within the hour. Would definitely recommend!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Van OD for any help needed moving/transporting items. Turned up 10 minutes early with a clean van and everything needed to protect things being transported, including straps to stop things falling over. And driver happy to help, especially with heavy items. Very positive experience. Booking over the phone was easy. My confirmation arrived quickly by email. I got the larger Luton van I asked for. Hourly rate and mileage was very fair by comparison with other companies. They comfortably beat AnyVan on price. And the guy who turned up – namecheck Lailson Chiavelli – was extremely professional, good clean van, an expert at piing stuff up safely, strapping it all down, filled half the van with pot plants (not one breakage) and he accomodated every last minute addition with good grace. I’ve used VanOD a number of times now and each time they beat everyone hands down on price. The hourly costs enables you to just pay for what you need and for us this has meant our moves are super reasonable even with two people to support. When we most recently moved house in early May we can not speak highly enough of the two team members who helped us move. They were polite, friendly and took loads of care of all our items. They made an incredibly stressful time much calmer and more efficient so we were super pleased with the service despite how horrible moving is!

I’ve used VanOD multiple times now throughout living in Bristol, and they’ve always been fantastic. Great value: they offer a range of vans on their websites and can advise you exactly which one is best to fit your needs, and you can choose from just one driver or two to help with lifting/loading/unloading. In all of my experiences, the drivers have been punctual, polite, hard-working and efficient. It’s truly amazing seeing how much stuff they can Tetris into the back of their vans! Recommend them to anyone who is moving, be it a one-room bedsit or a full household of four people.

Two Friendly and courteous chaps arrived to move a heavy electric organ. They were brilliant and I would definitely recommend them.

We contacted VanOD last weekend to collect and deliver 2 long planks of wood that we needed at short notice. We were going to book a large van due to the length of the wood, but the staff at VanOD very helpful said that we would only need a standard sized van as they could tie the wood to the door and they had done this several times before, saving us money, which I thought was great customer service! The communication was great, the driver was friendly, helpful and arrived on time and we thought the service was excellent. Highly recommend using this company and will definitely use again 🙂

It’s been my 3rd time moving houses with Van OD. Always very professional, always on time (or sometimes even few min earlier 😁). They know what they are doing, all the furniture was properly secured in the van, helpers are super quick, super strong and very nice. I strongly recommend Van OD!

We used Van OD to move house including furniture and all belongings. They were absolutely brilliant! Very quick and efficient, took good care of all the loading and unloading of items, and they brought all the right equipment with them (lots of special blankets for padding, big protective bags to keep mattresses clean). The staff were excellent, clearly experienced and experts at what they do. Polite and friendly too. They made the move go very smoothly and easily. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The van arrived slightly early and the guys were ready to load straight away. They were really friendly, helpful, and good with covid health and safety. We were done in a much shorter time than expected and it was really smooth and easy. Really recommend!

Used Vanod to move from a room in Fishponds to my flat in Knowle. Bang on time, strong lad, ha ha, made it all easy. Would use again and recommend. It’s good they have three sizes of vans/lorries so it’s not a problem if like me you’re only moving a wee amount of stuff.

Excellent and responsive service. Based on the amount of my household furniture’s, the rep accurately suggested a large van and it worked. They have a wide range of vans. The driver was helpful with moving everything into and out of the van. Booking was done instantly. Prices are standard.

Can’t recommend van od enough! My man with a van turned up on time, was really lovely and professional and got the job done quickly and was just a delight! He picked up a huge American fridge/freezer for me from the seller, brought it to my house on time, unpacked it, took the doors off so it would fit through my door, reattached them and installed it for me in my house all within an hour and was just a legend! The prices are so good as well! Would definitely recommend and will be using again! Thank you!

Robin was so helpful and prompt! I needed to pick up a bed frame last minute and all other man with van services were expensive but Robin said he could pick up and deliver the bed frame to me within a couple hours and didn’t charge me a crazy price for it. Great service.

Robin could not have been more helpful. He turned up on time with another pair of hands as requested and helped us move a lot of stuff from a tight top floor flat, including a double sofa bed, a chair bed and a load of other bits and bobs. The transit was packed to the rafters. He delivered our stuff from Bristol to Swansea, where we met him in the car at the self-storage place and he helped us load everything into our locker before driving back. He was very friendly and his price was exceptionally reasonable. Could not really recommend him any more!
